I'm sorry I'm still not positive how this works.
I believe if you pay a certain amount for a game on itch you get access to all the files equal to or below that amount, meaning as long as the game remains $5 (which it will for the forseeable future) you should have access to all versions as they are posted.
Keep in mind however the Itch version is one sometimes two versions behind the Patreon Silver version.
